New Treatment for Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema) Being Tested

“For people who have suffered their whole lives with atopic dermatitis, this is very promising research we are doing,” said Dr. Douglas Denham, principal  investigator for the study at Clinical Trials of Texas. “The science behind it involves a fully human monoclonal antibody, which in layman’s terms means an antibody binds to a chemical treatment and then hitches a ride on a molecule to the area that needs treatment.”
