Why do 65+ need vaccinations?

  • Your immune system weakens as it ages and it becomes more difficult to fight off illnesses such as the flu
  • Ongoing health problems such as diabetes can cause complications
  • If you do get a major illness such as pneumonia it will be harder to recover

Which vaccinations are recommended?

  • Flu
  • Shingles
  • Pneumonia

From the Doctor:
“Very few people actually get a reaction to vaccines,” said Dr. Douglas Denham, medical director of Clinical Trials of Texas. “It’s a simple step to protect yourself with a shot.”

CTT is currently enrolling seniors ages 65+ for paid research studies. Call 210-949-0122, Ext. 290 or browse enrolling studies.
