Diabetic Gastroparesis
Gastroparesis is a disease in which the stomach can’t empty itself of food in a normal way. Symptoms include:
Feeling full after eating
Left untreated, Gastroparesis may result in problems such as food that stays in the stomach too long which leads to overgrowth of bacteria; the food can also harden into a solid mass. For diabetics with Gastroparesis it can also result in difficulty with controlling blood sugars.

Fatty Liver
Fatty Liver Disease (also called non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, NAFLD or NASH) is strongly linked to Type 2 Diabetes. More than half of all Type 2 Diabetics may have or develop Fatty Liver Disease. There are often no symptoms. A free liver scan can help see if you may be a candidate for Fatty Liver Disease.
Left untreated Fatty Liver Disease may develop into cirrhosis of the liver.
