What is COVID-19?
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a symptomatic disease diagnosed by testing positive for the virus along with having such symptoms as fever, chills, headache, sore throat, new smell or taste disorders, cough, shortness of breath, pneumonia or acute respiratory distress. A health professional must diagnose you with COVID-19.
Who is at risk for COVID-19?
- Everyone
- While everyone is at risk of getting COVID-19, some people may be more likely to get COVID-19 or experience severe illness
- Severe illness and death rates tend to be higher for racial and ethnic minorities
What type of research is being conducted?
- Currently, CTT is conducting COVID-19 Vaccine Studies
- COVID-19 Vaccine Studies do NOT involve live virus and patients will NOT be exposed to the virus as part of the study
