Boulos Toursarkissian, MD
Boulos Toursarkissian, MD, joined Peripheral Vascular Associates in 2015. He is board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery. He provides comprehensive peripheral vascular care and uses the most up-to-date techniques to treat vascular patients for peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery stenosis, visceral artery disease including renal arteries, abdominal aortic aneurysm, vascular access for hemodialysis, aortoiliac occlusive disease, lower extremity arterial and venous problems, diabetic foot salvage, non-healing wounds, and limb salvage and preservation.
Dr. Toursarkissian joined the Division of Vascular Surgery at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX, in 1998 and was named Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery in 2000. In addition, he serves as a professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. Toursarkissian earned his MD from the University of Kentucky, where he also completed a residency in general surgery. He also completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, MI, followed by an endovascular fellowship at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire, Saint Etienne, France.
