Bunion Self-Scheduler

To qualify for this study, participants must:

  • Be 18-75 years old 
  • BMI between  ≤ 39 kg/m2 [to calculate:Click here]
  • Be in need of bunion surgery
  • Not have had a previous bunionectomy
  • Not have undergone 3 or more surgeries within the last year
  • Not have a history of kidney issues or kidney disease
  • Not have a history of cancer in the last year 
    • Exception: nonmetastatic basal cell or squamous cell carcinoma of the skin or localized in situ of the cervix
  • Not have an active COVID-19 infection within 3 months prior to surgery
  • Not have a known or suspected daily use of opioids for 7 or more consecutive days within the past 6 months
  • Not have participated in another investigational new drug study within 30 days
  • Not be positive for HIV (human immunodeficiency virus)
  • If you are a woman of childbearing potential or a man whose partner is of childbearing potential, you must agree to use effective birth control
