Diabetes Continuous Glucose Monitor Self-Scheduler

To qualify for this study, participants must: 

  • Be 18 – 75 years old  
  • Be diagnosed with Type 1, Type 2 Diabetes, or Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults (LADA) 
  • Be willing to wear up to 10 Continuous Glucose Monitors (typically 6 or less) for up to 7 days 
  • Have an A1c of: 
  • >5.0% for subjects with type 1 diabetes or LADA 
  • >7.0% for subjects with type 2 diabetes on insulin (e.g. basal, MDI or CSII) 
  • >8.0% for subjects with type 2 diabetes not on insulin (e.g. oral medications and/or diet and exercise) 
  • Be willing to take up repeat fingerstick glucose measurements 
  • Be willing to refrain from use of acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) during the sensor wear period 
  • Be in good general health 
  • Be willing to use a highly effective form of birth control  

To qualify for this study, participants must NOT: 

  • Be pregnant or breastfeeding  
  • Have any known allergy to medical grade adhesives, acrylic, latex, or isopropyl alcohol used to disinfect skin 
  • Have dermatological changes/conditions that interfere with wearing the required number of devices at sensor application locations such as: 
  • Extensive psoriasis, recent burns or severe sunburn, extensive eczema, extensive scarring, dermatitis herpetiformis, skin lesions, erythema,or infection 
  • Have a history of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, or Hepatitis C 
  • History of fainting due to sudden drop in blood pressure, history of severe hypoglycemia (loss of consciousness, seizure or emergency medical technician assistance), or history of diabetic ketoacidosis in past 6 months 
  • History of coagulopathy 
  • Be currently actively participating in another investigational study protocol
