Healthy Volunteers Self-Scheduler

To qualify for this study, participants must:

  • Be ages 18-75
  • Have a BMI of 16-32 Click here to calculate
  • Be healthy with no chronic conditions (examples: diabetes, ADHD, drug allergies, heart disease, etc.)
  • Be available for 6 nights in our overnight facility
  • Be of non-childbearing potential if female (medical records required) or use one of the following contraceptive methods:
      • Implantable progesterone-only hormone contraception 
      • Intrauterine device 
      • Intrauterine hormone-releasing system 
      • Bilateral tubal occlusion 
      • Vasectomized partner 
  • Be of non-childbearing potential if male (medical records required for sterilization) or use on of the following:
      • Childbearing and using one of the following contraception methods PLUS a barrier method (male or female condom, cervical cap, diaphragm or sponge) during the study period and for at least 4 days after the last dose of study drug.: 
      • Hormonal contraception plus a barrier method with estrogen and progesterone combined (can be oral, intravaginal or transdermal (patch) PLUS a barrier 
        • Progesterone only hormone contraception (can be oral or injectable) PLUS a barrier (condom) 
      • Be sexually abstinent (Must be lifestyle). 
        • Refraining from heterosexual intercourse during the entire period of risk associated with the study intervention.  
        • Same sex relationship OK (refrain from heterosexual intercourse) 
  • Must not have uncontrolled blood pressure (≥140/90)
  • Must be willing to refrain from taking any herbal supplements 7 days before start of the study (do not stop now.)
  • Must not have any known abnormal lab values or liver enzymes.
  • Must not have a history or active drug or alcohol abuse or use (there will be a drug screen)
  • Must not have any drug allergies
  • Must not have a history of Hepatitis B, C or HIV
  • Must not have any condition that could affect drug absorption (ex: gastric bypass)
  • Must not have had suicidal thoughts in the past year
  • Must not have donated blood in the past 60 days
  • Must not be in another research study currently
  • Additional criteria will apply
